Description
K-Type Thermocouple with metal shielding for higher temperature.
When reflowing boards with lead-free solder paste you usually need to setup profiles with 240°C / 250°C peak temperatures and fiberglass thermocouple insultaion tends to blacken and becomes rigid.
This thermocouple has a metal sleeve and is rated for temperatures up to 500°C.
The metal shielding is not connected (not grounded) so this thermocouple can be used with the MAX31855 in the X-toaster.
Lenght is 1mt.
Supplied by default with our X-toaster Reflow Oven Conversion KIT.
